Meet the Crew

Pauline Staples

Multitasking tech-geek Mom of three, eldest sibling of seven. Avid reader, active in volunteering for causes near and dear to my heart. Passionate about building Forever 41. My vision is an enduring memorial to not only keep Patricia’s memory and her legacy vibrantly alive, but also to do the very best I can to bring awareness to the mental health issues that plague so many folk.

Rex Kotovich

Father of none, uncle to many, father figure to some. I am an avid motorcycle enthusiast, most summer days I can be found working, when not I’m usually on 2 wheels. Amateur Rubik’s cube enthusiast and collector, I enjoy mentally challenging myself. Sober since 2014, I actively facilitate science based recovery meetings. Supporter and avid fan of world renowned, Calgary based, not for profit Improv Theatre.

Patricia was my sister and a passionate advocate of those that weren’t in a place where they were able to help themselves, without help. Patricia was that help to many. My personal motivation in Forever41 is to support those that do what she did.

Brendan Hynds

Introverted father of three kids. Foster parent, Mental Health Worker on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Enjoy taking advantage of all the beautiful hiking spots in the Lower Mainland.
Helping people struggling with mental health and addictions was profoundly important to my wife, Patricia. She devoted her life to it. Forever 41 raises  money for an issue that was so close to her heart.

Juniper Riley

Quirky, neurodivergent, motorcycle riding, squishmallow loving, person who is in desperately in need of coffee… constantly. Lover of the little things in life. I work in a daycare full-time. On occasion you can find me on the stage performing in drag.

Patricia was my aunt. I looked up to her in so many ways. Her love for the little things in life always kept me wondering. Reading the things she would write were some of my most cherished memories of her.
